The Wegleitner winery is located in the heart of Seewinkel. Seewinkel, or "Lake Corner," is a lake district right next to Lake Neusiedl in Burgenland, Austria. Numerous international tastings have shown that the world's finest sweet wines thrive around these numerous lakes. The Wegleitner vineyards are therefore situated in prime locations in the region.

Since 1997, Jonny Wegleitner has been a passionate winemaker. He took over the family business from his parents in 2011, drawing on a long tradition and family history.

Johannes is an enthusiastic winemaker and a true all-rounder, handling marketing, sales, cellar work, and coordinating key vineyard tasks. Meticulous quality control and a focus on fine wine are evident in his strong, aromatic, and fruity wines.

He has achieved numerous successes with red and sweet wines. His wines have consistently received numerous awards with excellent ratings. 90 points and above are not uncommon, confirming their outstanding quality.
